Wonder how long that official has been around for as well?
and which current club offcial would say that to a supporter?
He's a long term employee of the club based at Kogarah, reports directly to the CEO on an official capacity, not part of the BOD.

BLM01 his kid plays with my nephews which I go and watch play most games and over the last few years we have become friends(not besties), so on the rare occasion he'll let a frustration or observation slip. BTW he's a Saints supporter too.

I love seeing all these young forwards coming through...BUT...we've seen how long it takes for forwards to develop ie Lawrie 3-4 seasons and I would assume these young guys will be much the same before they are hardened first graders. In the meantime I fear we will be smashed in the forwards over the course of a long season and cannot see us being competitve for some seasons to come.

Also does anyone know if we have a new recruitment manager?? or is noone handling that side of things

I hadn't thought of that! Maybe. Has the proposed boycott actually started yet? Or is it still just a threat?
Yes, the boycotts have commenced as per -

Several NRL clubs, including Newcastle, Brisbane, Cronulla and St George Illawarra, have already canceled all media events and obligations, threatening further boycotts if this issue isn't resolved before Round 1.

Amone got a lot of benefit from our high-performance team; I mean look at him running around with a Hammer thinking his Thor.
