I was one too, I stuck solid till half time against the Roosters, then I went to the bar, got 4 beers and started consoling myself.

That must have been before the 2 beer limit came in.
That only made my season worse.

I was one of those that made you physically ill.
Did I expect miracles? No.
Did I think we'd perform better than what we have? Hell yeh!!!
I don't care what you say, we have a rather talented squad. Unfortunately, soooo many of them are underperforming, it ain't funny.
It just rubs it in when I watch a team of no names like the Raiders on Monday night put in 100% for 100% of the game.
There is a culture in our club that we need to be rid of. Unfortunately, our captain just fosters that culture.

Never were truer word's on this forum spoken, he fit right in with Hagan at the press conferences last year. Dumber and Dumber, funny the week before against Souths the pack actually went forward.............

If you will remember I think I have continually agreed with you at every point in that regard. The current roster particularly without the likes of Mateo, Hayne, Inu and Keating is ordinary outside of a few players who are making the effort.

The thing I will disagree with though is not making use of the Wenty system and pulling up some players who may even have more of a dig than the current lot are doing or making some changes instead of rewarding the same blokes each and every week. It may be a salary cap issue but some of the players that aren't being used are apparently part of the top 25.

It only takes a few players willing to have a dig to change the fortunes around and it could wake up some of these other blokes as well.

the options, even at Wenty, aren't in the sort of form they were last year, I still believe Horo is the next cab off the rank but beyond that I fail to see a player that can genuinely make an impact.

Nah it was at the SFS, the disappointment of the "2 beer rule" was yet to be realised. What a season:lol:

We won't know until we try...... not much use in paying them for three or four years (or more in the case of some) and then letting them go somewhere else.

I'm with you, Colonel.
We can't score points for the life of us. 8 tries in 2 games for Kelly.
How many for Robson? FFS, give the kid a chance.
I'm so sick of some of the hacks and pretenders we have doing f**k all atm.

Kelly is one..... then there are the likes of Grehan, Jono Wright, Tim Robinson, Marty Lewis..... all this money spent on developing them yet they sit down at Wenty not being given a chance while we see the same blokes week in week out dish up the same.

They may not offer any impact. But until they get a go we'll never know.

Agreed Colonel, honestly could they go any worse then Lowrie or TT???? If they are in our top 25 we may as well give them a run.....

Poor old Hindy.

He is the only one putting in at the moment.

He was putting in more effort injuried on the bench last Saturday than half our guys on the field.

I know Anderson was left these players but it is time for him to make some hard decisions.

He realised hayne was not working at 5/8 so he moved him back to fullback, look what happened with that. Hayne is playing for NSW tonight.

He needs to get rid of Cayless, Lowrie and Robson and try some of the younger blokes.

Mannah can replace Cayless, anyone can replace Lowrie and Kelly into halfback.

DA please try something, it starting to reek a bit of last year, sticking with the same players that are not getting the job done.

Shouldn't even matter if they aren't. Every other club asks for dispensation in regard to the salary cap when they have had injuries.

Cayless should not be dropped, definitely not re-signed but not dropped. Give him some respect.

Respect??? Where does that come into the equation of winning games?
Surely, you're not saying we can't drop him because he's been a loyal servant?
f**k that. We are in the NRL to win games. If he ain't cutting the mustard, he should be dropped.

Cayless is out of form and has been for the past year.

This what i'm talking about. DA needs to make some tough decisions for the betterment of the team

I don't know if showing him respect will get him to have a dig.

actually, they can be worse, why wouldn't they be? I'm as open minded as anyone to give them a go but I also trust the judgement of DA and his coaching staff to make that call.

He has a dig, there is no question about that.
His dig just ain't good enough anymore.
He is slow and cumbersome, and looks out of his depth.
A comfy semi-retirement in the north of England would suit him to a tee.

How much worse can we get?

By the way, are you channeling MITS? ;-)
