No thanks. We discussed Hindmarsh as being captain of Parra but the general concensus was that he dosent talk enough to the team. At the time, Finchy was doing most of the chatting.

For the Blues, Trent Barrett and Brett Kimmorley are our best options.

Neither is guarenteed their spot, Watmough is guarenteed his spot now, he plays with the same sort of passion Tallis had and has shown his willingness to lead from the front, he's also 26 so will be more of a long term solution

Watmough might be a good Origin captain. Terrible club captain, but for 4.5 weeks where it's about motivation, maybe.

If Kimmorley and Barrett are there next year one of those two.

id make kimmorely captain next year. gidley was brave in III but i seriously think there are at least 3 better fullback options then him

Anthony Watmough is a good nomination, why?

1. One of a minority guruanteed selection in the NSW team.

2. Inspirational leader in the Tallis mould as one member mentioned.

Watmough's performance in game three in particular was 10 out of 10. The best display by any individual this series. I think he is the leader that NSW are looking for.

Disagree with the above, I think he would be a good captain and lead from the front. The issue: NSW have great depth in the backrow and he is a little down the pecking order at this stage in his career.
