These youngsters...they go too hard too fast and then waste valuable alcohol

Imagine this....Jess and I were outside the Mad Monday venue saying goodbye to someone and Hindy was pissing against a wall over the other side of the road....Do you have the picture??

some people seem to really have it in for Nathan Cayless.....he and Kidwell were great off th bench for NZ....

and apart from him dropping the first two balls he touvhed he played well for a bloke who has played about 10 games in 2 years and was kept on the field at one point in preference to Jason who was got back up to most likely replace Nathan and was sat for another 5-10 mins because cayless was making tackles all over the place and solid runs - even though he did look out on his feet every 5 mins???

he played well and calls for him to "just" retain his place in the team are just incredible IMHO???? and his surge near the line created their second try....

he played a lot of productive minutes for a bloke lacking match fintess

i just wonder what games people are watching sometimes

and of course Hindmarsh played well and showed plenty of his ATM slot...... ;-)

I agree True EEL.
Caylo had a bit of a mixed game, but he wasnt as bad as some people are making him out to have been. He was pretty involved in the time he was on the field.

thanks queenbeyhole

i thought he played quite well - considering????

and eelsta......i don't understand how people could be bagging Hindy??? :? :? :?
its not his fault that he is always made the decoy runner in rep games - just because he is fast enough and mobile enough and scares the hell out of defences and draws defenders like flies, in turn opening up holes for other people to score like he did against NZ for the second and third tries?????

even the commentators made a note of that and said not to underestimate the role he played in both those tries down the left hand side......just a pity he isn't given the ball a bit more and makes so many tackles.....

Hindy brought a new meaning to showing crack. I don't think he has ever shown as much crack as he did in that one game.

I would like for someone to explain to me why the Second Rower of The Year was playing second fiddle in attack to Mason, Ryan and co.?

It is the first game of many, I am sure Bennet knows exactly what Hindy is capable of.

First of many and the second time he has been used as a decoy runner by Bennett. Bennett knows what he is capable of - he gave the offload for Rooney's second try and the halves still didn't give him the ball.

This is a problem Hindy seems to have suffered for much of his representative career.
He seems a little over-awed in attack, so defence ends up being his forte.
I just wish he would back himself a little more and run off those half backs who would give much better service than what he is used to at Parra.

Well, I mat be a tad biased because I love the Eels, but Nathan Hindmarsh is a superb second rower in every aspect of the game.

He can be a devastating ball runner.

no its what i said before.....because he is such a devastating runner they seem to have penchant for making him the decoy r unner in many rep games

such is his luck, but it usually works out for the team as they end up scoring tries from it, NSW and Australia, again its testament to his personality that he doesn't outwardly make a fuss over his role and just does his job

.

Your not biased at all. It is a fact.
It just seems, that when he gets to rep footy, he doesn't play the attacking forward as well as he is capable of. 2nd S.O.O. 2004 excepted.

I wish he would back himself like he knows he can, and run at gaps off players like Gower and Kimmorley more often.
God knows, he doesn't get to play alonside halfback quality like that very often. How many duds have we had under Smith's reign?
