Ahh yes NRL consistency at its best. Tariq Sims gets 5 weeks for a piss weak 'shoulder charge' and Hodges doesn't get even a week for dropping someone on their head. Seems fair :sarcasm:

I (a dragons supporter) actually like hodges. He is a class player. In saying that based on precedent he should have been rubbed out. However I think they should change the rules when it comes to players playing for a gf.

The high intensity of semi finals will naturally cause a few dangerous tackles. A players effort for the entire year shouldn't hinge on one or two games. Unless it is so egregious we should allow players to play hard without fear of ruining their entire year.

Code says if a tackled player jumps and sufficiently contributes to being placed in dangerous position the tackler can't be held responsible.

Judiciary couldn't really rule any other way.
