So I’m at shark park right now for rehearsals of the dance spectacular that will happening at half time of the titans game in round 2.

I would say it is almost exactly 14 days until the gates willl be opened for the first home game of the year.

Looking around at all the signage, the place looks run down. The signage at the ticket booths behind the Monty porter stand was peeling off and faded.
There is southern cross group signage all over the Peter burns stand and above the boxes in the porter stand plus above the big screen.

On beer hill the sign still says opal
Solar major partner.

I understand a lot can happen in a short time, but the place is looking as grey as the skies.
I hope there is a schedule to get it up to scratch this week, before any rain or weather affects the work needed.

Anyone in the know? I’m looking at you @Frank Discussion

Doesn’t sound good!

If Frank doesn’t know, maybe that Newman guy off the sharkcast could find out!

I’m sure it will all get sorted before around 2 Shaggs.

Getting a major Sponsor late and other sponsorship uncertainties I’m sure are all factors.

I’ll give Barry the benefit of the doubt that, that’s what has held things up.

Can we get some consistently high home crowd numbers this year???

Seriously supporters have to take a stand and show the NRL how valuable this franchise is to them.

Too many fair weathered fans who only come out of the woodwork when it’s finals time.

The Clubs future is on the line. We have a cracking side and the start of some very young and exciting careers. Some of the best juniors the Club has produced in a very long time will be featuring greatly. We can whinge all we like about the Club not doing a lot of things right but as fans we have not been good enough in turning up to games.

Sorry but it is true.

If you are not a member make a conscious effort to make Shark home games a priority in your life this year instead of no. 4 or 5 of your list of things to do.

It’s also a big f**k you to the media because it will show we are not effected by their crap. They are shitting on our Club on a daily basis and we have to turn up and help our Club out of the financial crisis they are in currently.

No excuses, turn up or shut up.

* Gets of soap box.

It will be done

Only a small thing but for at least two seasons now the seat numbers in the ET stand are in poor condition. They are either faded, peeling or just aren’t there at all.

It's pretty much par for the course. Most of that stuff is done at the last minute.

There is however only ONE facilities/stadium manager/staff since the re-structure. It'll get done but it will just about kill the new bloke.

need some of that scomo money...

Speaking of our bestus everest #1, friend of Flanno and everything Sharky, has anyone actually heard a squeak from the fair weather quigs speaking in favour of the Black White and Blues in the current media enviroment.

Narrhhhh didn't think so.

2020 the ARL is releasing their blueprint for the future of the game. Pssssts and guess what?

Get with the program Scummo. We will need all our troups ready to fight. There is no time like the present to start throwing a few slavos back in their direction.

All new signage doesn't get put up until the week or two before the first home game so to capture as many of the late sponsors as possible in the production of the signage.

There’s the problem, as soon as you tack manager in the job title it halves productivity

Did any one see the quality of the SCG last night, chunks of turf coming up all the ground, that ground is not up to standard, but the NRL wont say a thing, it looked like a cow paddock

It was a Super Rugby game FFS! Why would the NRL say anything?
