Taylor's father Logan said yesterday the Titans' financial situation was unlikely to stop his on officially joining the club.


"Ash (Taylor's wife) is homesick and they want to come home, rather than be stuck away from family in Cronulla," Logan said.


"It's a tough one for Dave because he is really enjoying it at Souths, he really likes the new coach and I would have liked to see him have another year there.
