Its probably a fear of the drive-by shootings. How many a week is the average in Sydney now..5?

Now can a Sydneysider please explain to me whats so great about living in a city that has embraced firing out of cars in such a big way as Sydney has? Is it because you guys live such advanced lifestyles?

I know! Its so relaxing at Coolangatta, especially at night time.

Mighty Bronco needs some help with his geography. The moron has no idea where the state border is

Such a proud Kweeenlandah, I fink (Is that you Big Game GI):lol::lol::lol:

Having seen the crime stats weekly. SE QLD is the hold up capital of OZ make no mistakes about it. The amount of gun related crime is only just behind Sydney (I would imagine ahead on a per capita basis).

Perceptions are funny, especially if you have no idea what you are on about, or have a biased view at the outset. As I said both have some great things, and both have utter shyte, I can happily accept that about every major city in the world. But that doesn't align with your biased view so carry on.

There's been no shootings at the Gold Coast recently?

It's bad business to say "I left because I thought the club were a bunch of merkins" or "I left because I need more money" so they offer an excuse. It's often convenient for players to say they want to be closer to their families.

It's not exclusive to QLD players either

I don't want to generalise, but the reality is that a lot of QLDers do live quite basic lifestyles. They have simple priorities and as such, quite a lot do not have education as a priority. This can lead to things such as not traveling much and not having a great perspective on the world at large

As such, change can appear as a scary concept for these people. They don't know how to deal with it so they revert back to what is familiar. This is why I think you see the highe proportion of sooky la las when you head north of the border. They just don't know or have an appetite for embracing change (obviously, as a generalisation)

Cheers

 Ultimate troll.

Teach me.

In situations where a player heads home for family reasons it is often because his wife with young kids wants to be closer to family.
Of course as Queenslanders the player's parents and his wife's parents are often the same.

Titans player recruits are bitchwhipped.

Price, Rapefranchi, Coal Seam. All following their wives as they use their scrotum as a man purse

Having lived on the gold coast for 17 odd years i consider Coolangatta as a seperate place altogether. I lived about 15 minutes away from surfers paradise in the suburbs and if you didn't have a lift the airport was an absolute pain to get too being so far away.

From memory he has recently had a kid (well he didn't, pretty sure the wife does that in the cave troll society) and would make sense if she wanted the kid to be closer to family. Could very well be a combination of this and a few things mentioned above such as "more money" and "will never win a premiership here" etc etc.

Similar to blokes that change codes for "the challenge". Yes the challenge to blow your new pay cheque.

Prince also wanted to head back home & ended up at the Gold Coast. Isn't he from Mt Isa ??

Townsville is 1/2 the distance from Mt isa is compared to the Gold Coast, bizarre hey.

Much like the real Cockroach, you guys are becoming butthurt at plague proportians. So Taylor wants to leave your little 7 losses in a row shithole. Who can blame him?

Someone break out the Mortein and put these poor bastards out of their misery.

7 losses, you are clearly delusional.

You neglected to mention the "crime centre of the universe" Sydney.

I can only make a few assumptions based on your fact filled rants;

You have never been to Sydney,
If you have you only spent enough $$ to stay in a cheap shytehole and ended up in a dungheap in a dungheap area,
You didn't have any mobile coverage and couldn't ring mummy and went home at the first available opportunity.

You realise that you are doing exactly what the OP wanted, taken the obvious bait, spewed ill-informed biased opinion, and make yourself come across as a simpleton.

Talk about cliches.

Don't be like that, just take Moffo's wisdom on board. Once his big financial news comes in, we'll all be rich

Where's your evidence that the seat pisser was a Broncos fan?

The seat pisser was a delightful woman @ Suncorp stadium in a QLD jersey. It is the spiritual home of the seatpisser.

Ergo the team playing out of Suncorp. You know how there Brisbane faithful would react if the upstarts from he GC tried to take their seat pissing mantle. They worked so hard to get it.
