he played in the 2nd game of 1995. It was at the MCG and there was that big fight that happened at the 1st scrum.
Hoppa started fighting with Matt Sing, and then Danny Moore joined in to help
Sing. I am more suprised he made 200 games in 1st grade with all the suspensions he had.

Hoppa had great potential- had he not been so careless in his actions on-field over the years, he could have achieved alot more in the game than he did. Never mind what the Sharks fans write- they seem a bitter lot anyway, most of them. It happens.

i have never been a hoppa fan, and myself like most fans were furious when i sore what he did to keith. and i do beilieve he deserves a big sit on the side line to think over his actions. but i get angry when i see he has no future in the game, he was a thug but all of his work was done on the field, he bled the manly colours and had so much potential. You have players raping,runing riot giving the game a real bad name out side of the field (eg:dogs,newcastle,Gasnier) and whilst one man has been fired the rest cop bloody fines and a smack on the wrist. These men earn big money compared to most of us and 50'000 bucks is just a few games cash to them.
These are the boys who should be shown the door, I think hoppa just has had a bad run of stupid moves in his career and thats all it really is STUPID moves.

April 21 1999.

Fine $5,000 for a nightclub "incident".

They weren't on-field incidents and neither was the bloke going on 60 minutes to blame Wests and Terry Lamb for sticking his fingers up other player's dates.

You've let yourself, Manly fans, rugby league supporters in general and the NRL down. But please don't retire from sport.

Go and join the AFL instead. You can make up for this playing their code with your usual gusto and subsequently and unwittingly bring their sport into disrepute, just like you managed to do in rugby league.
