Seriously though - this thread wasn't my idea. I did it as a favour. I am remarkably sexist when it comes to my music. Being a metal fan, I just cannot see women as singers...To me, they generally don't convey a sense of brutality or energy, and so what's the point?

Angela Gossow, though, is different. She is insane and sings better than a lot of men.

And there are some great women singers.

It's just that some of them try to do the death metal0style growling vocals, and the pitch is too high to be menacing. They end up sounding like Dani Filth lol.
