I think you'll find a lot of bands and artists release albums in the second half of the year to help increase sales. Ie Xmas sales. I don't think they do it to win the Hottest 100.

Zoidberg said:My favourite album this year was Cog - The New Normal. It's great they got 2 songs in the top 100, however in my opinion, those 2 songs (which were the singles released) are not even close to being the best songs on that album. I can think of 4 or 5 better.
