How About This For A Stat!!!!!!!

Over the last couple of years watching every game of footy, courtesy of Austar, I realised something to myself and thought it odd BUT last night I sat down and took a statisitic that had been bugging the absolute CRAP out of me to see if it was me or whether I was just imagining it.
.
So here we go.
.
Before you get to the actual statistic that I took - ask yourself this - "How many times did the cameras show Ricky STUART during the course of the game. Not before or after during any interviews or anything just shots of him during the actual 80 minute game time?????????
.
And then ask yourself - "How many times did they show the opposition coach?????"
.
Well your answer is this -
.
Ricky STUART = 23
Steve FOLKES = 3 - (And all in the last 5 minutes).
.
What's the go with this???????? No wander I can't stand the sight of the little guy I get to see him during the game more than I get to see some of the players!!!!!! Now that's not a bad thing in some cases because I sure would rather look at Ricky that Chris WALKER that's for sure but surely there is absolutely NO reason to show a Coach that many times. Surely. Am I right?????????
.
They showed him during sets of six when nothing was happening, After penalties had been given, when there was a small break in play, Jesus just about whenever. Now maybe fair enough they could show him after his team scores a try or does something brilliant (which in the Roosters game last night would have ben a few times) but to show him 23 times ---- well I had better stop just the thought is making me get a bit hot under the collar again.
.
Anyway it appears as though my feeling was justified from the last couple of years and I was just imagining things.
.
To add some interest to this Statistic I might make the same stat for a fewmore games tonight and tomorrow just to comparre results!!!!!
.
Stay tuned for those.

Is it me or does the same thing happen when they are covering a Knights game that Joey isn't playing. I remember the final after the back break and they showed him so many times during the game it was crazy!

I don't think that there is any point in showing the coach (or a key injured player for that matter) that many times!

Fans are watching the coverage for one reason... THE GAME! not the coach!

I have a question... why does Hag's not wear a suit? I think that he should.
Yeah I agree with them showing Joey on telly like 20 times a game last yr.

Maybe it's the fact that some coaches are a lot more animated than others. Ch.9 are probably not gonna show Wayne Bennet 23 times as they might aswell put a file photo of him up from 10yrs ago because he would have exactly the same expression on his face. Although Shane, maybe you can take your research a bit further and find out which coaches mugs get the most coverage for the year.

Stats from the knights v parra games.

*The Knights enjoy travelling to Parramatta Stadium. They have won 14 of 27 games there since their inception in 1988 and have won six of the past nine clashes against the Eels.

The Knights are lethal in the opposition red zone. Of the 11 tries they have scored this year, 10 have come from 20 metres or closer. But their tryline defence is suspect – the six tries Newcastle have conceded in 2004 have come from their red zone.
