If it stopped reducing funding to NZRL it'd be even better! If only the NRL contributed more money to the Warriors, Rugby league will be thriving in all levels in New Zealand, All these Storm premierships wins and what added value to Rugby League??
Does everywhere I'd say. Same in Perth, a lot of Jnrs are from PI/Kiwi backgrounds. You see lots of people walking round in Warriors Merch.I've noticed a lot of Polynesian/Maori families at Storm home games....this community seems to make up a significant component of their Victorian fanbase.
Straight out of the Perth Red playbook. Demands the NRL give more money to the Drizzle while saying that they should give less to every other team. His selfishness and self-interest is truly sickening. If it stopped reducing funding to NZRL it'd be even better!
I remember few years back that the biggest rating game of the year was the SHarks and Storm game is it because more sharks supporters where watching the match? If it stopped reducing funding to NZRL it'd be even better!
As for Storm value; top 3 most watched club on TV. GF ratings from massive Melbourne viewership growth for the big one. Only place we are actually encroaching into AFL land. Increased sponsorship value of having more than two big cities in the comp. Top three supporter bases in the country.
Plenty of value to be had if you take off the hate glasses

maybe, then again maybe notI remember few years back that the biggest rating game of the year was the SHarks and Storm game is it because more sharks supporters where watching the match?
The untapped potential for Wests Tigers to be a powerhouse superclub is insane.....a literal decade since they haven't finished in the bottom half of the comp and they still have so much support.maybe, then again maybe not

Everything you ever wanted to know about NRL TV ratings but were afraid to ask
The overwhelming majority of fans get their NRL fix through the TV. An average round will attract 124,000 in the stands but 3.6 million, thirty times as many, will tune in via subscription (PTV) or…pythagonrl.com
Says more about the kind of shameless, entitled bandwagoner who is happy to bang on about Maroon superiority when Qld teams are winning, but drops them as soon as the success dries up.Does that say more about the Storm or the Broncos/Cowboys....?
Very big community representation down there mate.I've noticed a lot of Polynesian/Maori families at Storm home games....this community seems to make up a significant component of their Victorian fanbase.
I see your point… it’s speculation whether they are bandwagoners or not… could be genuine fans (plenty of ex Vic’s go up there, especially in retirement), or bandwagoners, or a mix of both.Says more about the kind of shameless, entitled bandwagoner who is happy to bang on about Maroon superiority when Qld teams are winning, but drops them as soon as the success dries up.

I have got a mate come from Victoria lives in Sydney now, We got talking about Rugby League in Victoria and he said to me dont listen to any of the hype unless your an ex pat NSW welshman, or predominately from an Islander community these people like the Storm, the rest of the other community dont really care...Very big community representation down there mate.
This dairy farmer buys them as calves mostly and raises them as his own.Not 70s. Producing players doesn't mean the whole team are local players, it means that you have laid the groundwork for a club.
Melbourne are like a dairy farmer who buys all his cattle.
Sounds like something a Victorian would say..I have got a mate come from Victoria lives in Sydney now, We got talking about Rugby League in Victoria and he said to me dont listen to any of the hype unless your an ex pat NSW welshman, or predominately from an Islander community these people like the Storm, the rest of the other community dont really care...
And those cows produce some pretty fine milk…This dairy farmer buys them as calves mostly and raises them as his own.
Until they retire and piss back home because they hate the joint. This dairy farmer buys them as calves mostly and raises them as his own.
or you could read it that without the Storm the tv audience in Melbourne drops by some 40k people a round.
So basically if im looking at this graph you would say that no one cares about Rugby league in Victoria.
