How did JP du Plessis go?

Hey, great game by the Roosters on the weekend (I have to admit I went for Souths - bad idea)

Anyway, I noted some time ago Roosters had signed a South African guy, JP who apparently was going to be playing under 20's.

How did he go?

I actually think South Africa could be a great recruiting ground, most South Africans (obviously in Australia) talk of how pretty much anyone wants to get out.

All I know so far is that he scored a try on debut for the Under 20's.

Scored a try, but other than that was fairly limited in his opportunities due to some very ametuerish mistakes by his inside men.

The number 6 was quite poor, I thought, and the fullback had a couple of blunders too iirc. That said, it was quite impressive that even with a series of bombed opportunities and some poor defence they nearly managed to jag a win.

JP ran well when he had the ball, and he and Ryan Williamson will make a dangerous combination.
