How lucky is Luke Burt

I know that this is sometimes done to death, but gee he is lucky to be in the side. Over the past 6 rounds , he has been our worst performer. Whilst he kicked the first 2 goals on Saturday, he missed from in front and in general play he is quite weak.
I have been thinking, we rarely see him make a line break, doesn't seem to get the ball in support. If he is as quick as we all think, then why isnt he doing as well as say Wesser, Stewart or even Donald . There seems to be something missing in his game, and from time to time I am dumbfounded that he keeps his place ahead of Peterson or Williams.
Hopefully he will make me eat these words and play blinder this week, but it needs to happen soon, or we should be asking the question headlined in this thread. He cant have many more chances , surely

He has been playing solid enough, and as shown earlier in the season he can be a handy option in general kicking to keep the opposition guessing

im a fan of Burt (although his form has not been great of late)

I hope that we sign some high quility outside backs for next season...

You guys must be watching different games to me, maybe my Austar connection is failing me.
Burt would be in my run on side every week based on the games so far this season he has be consistantly good every game.
Sorry but I can't fault him.

It has, and he is our third best player all year as voted by everyone here.

Get over it.

Burt is the best winger!!!!! He brakes tackles reads the play well makes brakes at will, NEVER has any missed tackles. Absolute freak of a talent. His reading of play is something to be hold and he doesn't have brain snaps at all.*

* I was reffering to our Lower grade winger John Williams, Burt is really crap.

Most of those votes came when he played fullback and everyone else was going even worse then him

Thats about it Hurri.

Frankly, Burt is just an 18th Man.
