Minichiello is the best, but the likes of Bowen, Slater, Wesser and Schifcofske are right behind him. Stewart will be up there too.

The irony is that QLD have 4 of the top 5 FB's in the game, with NSW only 1, but that one just happens to be the best. :)

I do think Minichiello is a brilliant fullback, but I dont think he is the best all by himself, I think there is a few who are all equally as good as each other.

I think Matt Bowen will go on to become one of the best ever fullbacks, his only problem is one Wayne Bennett. Bennett has it in his head now that Bowen is best used as an interchange player, and therefore is going to halt Bowens represetative career for as long as he is in charge.

Well Bennet isnt the QLD coach anymore so now its Hagan's decision on where he plays Bowen & i think it will still be on the bench.

Patten is a VERY under rated full back & is one of our only players this year that has given 100% in every game. A champ on & off the field & he is someone who loves to wear the blue & white of the bulldogs- PATTEN YOU LEGEND

Patten is awesome, he's from my hometown and one of the few steelers around. But his defence isnt al that good unfortunately.

Hunt is miles below Slater, Wesser and Schifcofske in the pecking order. His one on one defence is pretty ordinary, I think he reads it quite badly to be honest. He's still learning though. Still a class player but he has plenty of time.

Finally, someone who agrees with me ... Hunt's defence is shite!! Wesser, Slater, Bowen, Schifcoske must all be ahead of him in the pecking order if the selectors have half a clue (they're QLDers so they must have). He'll be a special in a couple of years but not yet. I bet he does a Lockyer and plays fullback until Locky retires and then moves to 5/8 ...

They said that was the plan, move him to five-eighth or lock (but with his defence, i'd laugh if it were lock). Either way, for the next 15 - 20 years, they're going to have a five-eighth that can't defend to save themselves and need help. Locky/Carroll for the next five, Hunt/Stagg for the rest. Whatever floats Bennett's boat I guess.
