2 97,98 hard watching the eagles get rolled in 97 but happy for the 3 Cessnock boys who had massive contributions second half of 98 up there with the finest individual team efforts for a while so 97 my best

Been to the 98, 04, 08, 09, 10 and 11 Gf's. Favourite was obviously 2004. 2008 was probably my least favourite because I really didn't give a shit about either of the teams. Wasn't too impressed by this year's gf either, probably because the Warriors only started to play from 65 minute mark onwards

I've flown across from Perth to 4 Grand Finals in my 30yrs. 1997, 2000, 2003, and 2005. Obviously, as a Novocastrian, 1997 is by far the greatest Grand Final I have been to or even seen. 2003 was awesome, 2005 was great, and 2000 was the dullest of the lot.

I'll never forget the moment Darren Albert scored that try. I was on the sideline, behind the deadball line down at the end where he scored. I can still see the wall of Manly defence and a red & blue jumper piercing it and running in my direction. I don't think I actually saw him plant the ball. The next 20mins were a blur. Awesome.

I went to '97 and '04.

The 1997 grand final was the best game I've ever been to, and I'm not even a Knights fan. Everything about it was perfect, from the Manly team doctor warning Johns not to play (He could die!!!!) to the last minute win by the good guys.

It was just beautiful to see the bad guys lose in such a fashion. It's not often the good guys win in professional sport, which is why the '04 grand final was such a shit game - I didn't want either team to win.

I've only attended one Grand Final. That was 2003.

So it's the best by default, although being a Panthers supporter it would remain the best regardless of how many I had attended. Especially since I was only 5 years old in 1991 when we won our first competition, and I wasn't really into the game back then.

It was the best, such superb quality considering the conditions. Both teams playing close to their peak.

89 though is considered better by most purely for the amount of memorable moments it had. It truth Balmain were very poor in the 2nd half.

For me the 2003, 2005 and 2009 are the three best, its very hard to separate. 2009 because of some of the moments the Storm gave me, 2005 because of the amazing trys scored and 2003 because of Scott Sattlers tackle and the way it was played.

Been to 23 Grand finals 1978-1997,1999,2008,2010. Obviously 2010 was the highlight but from a neutral point 1989 and 1997(ARL) were the highlights

Hi All

I have been to four Grand Finals.

1987 - Manly beat Canberra 18-8 in the final Grand Final at the S.C.G.

2003 - Penrith beat Sydney Roosters 18-6.

2004 - Canterbury-Bankstown beat Sydney Roosters 16-13.

2008 - Manly beat Melbourne 40-0.

The best Grand Final of those three would be 2004.

The best moments of those four Grand Finals would be Scott Sattlers tackle in 2003 and Steve Menzies try in 2008.

All the best.

08 best for a mile, not just for the Menzies try and Storm flogging either, the whole day was a ripper, from memory NSW Cup went for over 100mins and the 20s was Golden Point as well
