How many Grand Finals have you attended and which one was the best?

02, 05, and yesterday.

2005 by a mile, the atmosphere was amazimg at the end, even I clapped for the Tigers. It's a cliche' but IMO Rugby League was a winner that day, was great to see 2 under dog teams who played exciting footy make it, shame we lost but the Tigers were far superior.

Yesterday the pre match stuff was excellent, the game itself was shithouse.

Attended 1982-1984, 1986-2003, and 2008-2009. I think that's 23, though I also went to the 2004-2006 GFs while in the UK, for a tally of 26.

The best one... apart from my team winning in 1982, 1983 and 1986, I'd have to say that as a match the 1989 GF (Canberra v Balmain) was the best. But in terms of atmosphere, my first tastes of UK GFs at Old Trafford in 2004 and 2005 (Leeds v Bradford) were miles above anything I'd experienced here, before or since.

2002, 2004-2005, 2007-2009, 2011. So 7 for me.

My best memory is the Pat Richards try but without any bias, 2008 was the best. Menzies going out like that was sensational.

Nothing to do with the result, but 2009 I thought was a good one too. Melbourne out to an early lead, Parrascums fighting back in and getting the crowd into the game. Was a good GF to be at.

22 but 24 if you include replays. The 4 Manly victories attended 76, 78, 08(especially) and 11 were the best. Apart from that 81 (cheered for Newtown sitting on the hill). and 99 were great.

Been to many Grand Finals (Since 1969 missed only 5) and I can say that most of them were good to great games with two obvious exceptions.

The first was the 1984 G.F. won by Canterbury over parra 6-4 and the second one was won by Parra over the Canterbury 4-2 in the 1986 decider.

Both of these games were not exactly classic matches,but thanks to the defensive attitude of the coaches in those days,it did stifle the running game as drab as it was.

Missed a few grand finals while away on overseas business trips.

And the one I really regret was in 2003,a bit too crook to go.

Don't think I'd be biased by saying 2003 was the best by a mile!

I have decided last Sunday was the start of an annual tradition though and only being 21 there are plenty more GF's to go too. Fingers crossed Penrith may a few of those
