One interesting point that's been overlooked is that it gives all teams an extra day preparation for next week. :sarcasm:

Hows that?

Next week is Fri & Sat nites only as well.

Come sunday, everyone will realize what a sh*thouse decision this will be.

It will surely sellout tomorrow night. Assuming about 5,000 members don't show up I'm predicting 38,000.

Saturday night I'd be looking at around 25,000.

This is a problem... Two SYdney teams can't sell out a 40,000 seat stadium for a sudden Death Semi-final...

Shocking!!! Come on Manly & St George Illawarra supporters get out to the GAME!!!!!!!! Swans sold more tickets in one day (First day of sale) to there game next week (Opponent not known) then this game will get! Rugby league supporters get your f**king fat arses out off the sofa and too the game!

You're right Lebanese Forces, it should be a sell out. I'm still hoping for a big walk up attendance to fill out the stadium a little bit. Keep in mind that Manly fans arn't really noted travellers.

The AFL next week is pretty much the grand final for all their fans who can't or won't travel to Melbourne for the big one. They should be expecting to pack the place.

I'm pretty sure it will be all but a sell out. High 30's for sure.
League fans aren't used to buying tix in a advance.
It's gonna be a nice evening and a whole lot of people will decide to rock up after work i reckon.

One can only hope mate!!!

We need to somehow start changing the typical Rugby League culture and encourage people to attend more games... watching it on tv is nothing like being at the game! But i guess when the governing body does sh*t all advertising we can't expect things to be different.:(

I don't understand why we can't get 40K tonight. 20,000 fans from each team isn't too much to ask. I'll be dissappointed if there's anything less than 35K

A few years back the Warriors vs Raiders match had 33,000. Surely, surely this match, a sudden death match as well, will sell out?

If someone offered Kiwi passport holders 10,000 free tickets, I'm sure they'd rock up again skeepe!

I just bought tix to the Knights V Broncos game and the PAX was 17,533, which is pretty good i reckon. That should ensure a crowd well into the 20k's.

It's a good effort, considering that there are no Sydney teams. In 03 the Bulldogs played Melbourne at the same stage of the finals and got less than 20k.
