He'll get 2 weeks simply coz Young was injured.

Intent was to hit a bloke who should have been looking up field instead of zig zagging around lost.

It was sickening to watch but mainly cause young was looking the other way. f**k the hyperbole this should be a week or two max.

A lot was working against Inglis... Farrel being around the legs meant that while Young hadn't fallen a long way, he was off balance. Then the fact Young wasn't looking made it look much worse than it was...

But the game these days is a bit funny on shoulder charges. They use the ones that come off well in their promos, and condemn the ones that miss even slightly as dangerous... and they are. But you can't sit Greg out for 4-6 weeks for a hit that was pretty touch and go.

End of the day, he made contact with the attacking players head. He has had a perfect record up to this point. Give him a week. There was a lot that went against him in that tackle that was out of his control... but not as much as went against Young

Deserves an award for causing uproar amongst dragon fans but will probably get a week or 2.

Not too much wrong with it imo, didnt leave the ground, had arms down alongside body, careless at worst.

After watching the replay several times, I think he deserves 4 to 6 weeks, but will probably get 2 at most.

Don't really know if he should have been sent off at the time though. Touch and go.

Pretty similar to Teo's tackle who ended up with 2 weeks. The 2 things in Inglis' favour compared to the Teo tackle was that there was a second player in the tackle who had changed Young's height (slightly but possibly enough to make a difference to the end result) and that first contact was forearm on shoulder. Shouldn't be any more than 2 weeks.

Congrats Souths - great victory over those grubs. Am enjoying seeing the whingeing and whining coming from team that was clearly outclassed. Whoever hits Young in any way shape or form deserves an award. And I'm not a souths fan but it was great to see...nice work!!

I see with the Inglis incident, the two head high shots on Burgess have been forgotten by all and sundry.

Scott tried to fire up, they are better off without him as he is useless. Ran 5 times for 34m, 27 tackles in 71 minutes.

The only guys that ran less than him on the field was Hornby and Marketo who played 25 minutes.

The more pertinent question is what will Muzby be doing in September? His beloved Dragons will be on an end of season trip, so what will old Muzza be up to? We should have a poll...

Yup.. our season is pretty much done.. which is a shame..

And yes, will be quite odd to have a September where i'm not wearing red & white...

It's a fairly rare sensation for me and I don't know what I should do to fill in my time.. perhaps you could give me some advice? Happy to take your annual September Bali holiday for you, as it looks like you can't make it this year..

Inglis will get 2-3 weeks, mind you if the same hit had taken place in an origin match he would get nothing.

After all in Origin you can lead with your head like Nate Myles and leave a player concussed (Farah) and nothing happens.

You can also do a Brent Tate and punch a guy in the face while he is on the ground (Bird) and also nothing happens.

Can someone seriously say that the Inglis hit was worse than the Dwyer hit on Warea-Hargeaves in the 2010 Final Series that went unpunished.

Hoffman's hit on Luke Bailey on friday night was worse, clenched fist, swinging arm, forearm connects right on the nose. No big up roar about that one coz Bailey wasn't knocked out.

Next time (if there is another) Young makes a break he'll be looking up field like he should have been this time.

More importantly, beat the dragons twice this season. Gee gypsy and jerkface, come in here and talk so much shit before the game and now the deflection about your pin up boy getting pwned. Suck it princesses.

Nah, i'll still front up here after the loss, and as much as it pains me to say it, we were outplayed by a long way by a better team..

And I'd hardly call Dean young a pin up boy.. have you seen the head on him?
