Storm is the new silvertails. they have taken over the crown from manly of old. All that was detested years ago about Manly is now firmly on the shoulders of the mexican news limited club.

No Sydney club could ever buy the playing staff they have run around with the last three years and not break the cap.

No matter how good a side is I would never support a club that buys premierships.

The Storm groomed the likes of Slater, Smith, Folau, Cronk and Inglis into stars. They did not buy them from other clubs. They've only bought the likes of Crocker and Quinn. They've hardly broken the bank, afterall there is the salary cap and their exceeding of it has hardly been monumental.

I've got to agree with you there. The Storm are more like the glory day Raiders than Manly. Both teams raised their own stars. Big Mal was and remains Canberra's only ever marquee signing.

I don't like them, but I give them credit for spotting and developing their own talent. I'll respect them a lot more when they get some Victorian juniors in the first grade side though.
