They should go close to making the eight. The expectation on this Reynolds kid is enormous. He must be bloody good because their season hinges on him and his halves pairing and there are a lot of people talking him up. Should be interesting to watch. Wouldn't think you could find a Cherry-Evans each season.

Chery Evans was fantastically coached and also had a year in NSW Cup

I agree, it seems very unlikely he will steer us into the finals. Maguire would have to be a damn fine coach if he achieves it.

This Reynolds is something else. He has it all, a great running game, outstanding pass both sides, great vision and composure, and hits like a bag of spanners. By the end of next season, people will be saying Cherry Who?

How Souths will go, I don't know or care, I just care about my team. Regarding the highlighted sentence, that isn't going to help Reynolds by putting all that pressure on him.
