It's part and parcel of the game, stop feeling so victimised and stop blaming other clubs for the lack of development that has gone on at your club in the past few years. Agree with your last paragraph. If you think the players chopping and changing is bad now, wait till the salary cap goes up by 20-50% in line with the new t.v deal. The smart clubs have tied up their best players for 2013 and beyond. Just wait to the end of 2013 if you want to see some frantic player movement.
