3rd - 6th IMO, although they will hope Thurston is not injured for any length of time.

Traditionally suck post Origin and that is when the finals are. Bit of a problem. Not sure what effect Lui will have when he is there or when he isn't. If JT is fit and firing then they can make the top 4. Showed last year in the finals that they need to rise a rung if they are to topple the premiership types in big games.

I thought top 8, but the cows seem to disappoint more often than not. So 9-12.

However if they don't make the 8 it can only be considered a dreadful season. Not sure how long Lui is out for, but they rely too much on JT, without a quality 1/2 they'll rely on him more. I am afraid this will provide more disappointment in 2012.

Agree with your first point..When we look to have a great squad & a real chance..we finish down the bottom..we have a horrible season.
When we are written off we seem to go great.

As for your 2nd point..i would have Ray Thomson any day of the week before Lui.
He has been quietly flying under the radar as a half,as would most when playing next to JT..But he is getting better & better ,& his one on one defence,against forwards is brilliant.. .Lui should only get a gig in 1st grade at SOO time or due to injuries..
I have watched a few of his games at the TIGS & his defence is woeful at times....Something we dont need after finally improving dramatically in that area.

Rely too much on Thurston & Bowen & I reckon Bowen will be found out this year. Have a reasonable squad otherwise but only enough to sneak into the finals.
