Depends on the for 6 weeks in my view. You can't win the comp on emotion for the full season, it will take its toll at some point.

Any success we have will be based on the young guys coming through, our roster is another year older and I suspect we will have our fair share of injuries.

I'll say 9th-12th

This sums it up.

We did awesome last year to overcome the off-field crap but I wouldn't be surprised if it really catches up with us eventually, in 1 way or another.

We still don't have that game breaking centre, so we will be in for another "boring" year.

I'm starting to get a bit worried about how I am going to fare in 2014.

You'll be fine, old fella. Ill give you the tip... ORTHOTICS They got Bryce Gibbs out of retirement and can do wonders for you . I spent half yesterday following the missus around the sunday markets and thanks to orthotics i can still walk today .So unless you want to pull up lame, half way through the season get yourself some!

Performance enhancing orthotics. Are they on the Cleared list or did you get them off Dr Dank.

Definitely Top 4 capable, but still need that centre you haven't had since 2000 to make a prelim. ASADA's case is obviously very strong circumstantially, but they don't have a smoking gun, so to speak. It will hang over the heads of the players again all year I reckon. Could change at any minute though.

Had Manly on toast this year in the semi, but ya's don't know how to win big games.

Another good season, but ultimately fruitless.

Love Ronnie.

Top 4.

Of course Carney's health is key for any finals hopes.

I like our squad TBH.

Think Leutele and Lichaa will have big years.

I see a good blend of youth and experience.

These guys like each other too, that counts for me.

Top 4 for sure even might win the whole kit and kaboodle as well. The squad is better in 2014 than it was this year with a lot more depth in the scrum area and are we really going to miss the pom in the backline.

Top 4, keep it hard and simple, stay away from SSO, hurt whoever we play , especialy Josh Papali, say nothing about ASADA, work hard behind the scenes to have the fine cut back, send Flanno on a study tour of the NFL. Bring on 2014.

Came across this

David, who has had his pre-season interrupted following an injury to his foot that required surgery, hopes to begin running again in the New Year ahead of the start of the 2014 season, while Andrew also returns to pre-season training with the rest of the Sharks NRL squad early in January.

I also hope Sharp is more willing to try youth than Flanno.

As if Flanno won't be pulling the strings behind the scenes. I don't buy for a second that this is Sharpies team.

I also think Vave is ahead of Fifita II in the prop pecking order. Arona probably as well

We haven't had a 2014 team threads this off season which speaks volumes about the "excitement" around the joint despite having a strong squad.

R1

1. Gordon
2. Ryan
3. Ayshford
4. Wright
5. Feki
6. Carney
7. Robson
8. Fifita
9. Morris
10. Tagatase
11. Sopoaga
12. Graham
13. Gallen

14. Heighington
15. Vave
16. De Gois
17. Prior

Safety boringly first. Knowing us Sopoaga will probably start in reggies for Prior at 11 and Gibbs on the bench

I'm the same Newman. I can't be bothered with footy at all.

The football across the board was a little ho hum for me.

I will get my ticket, a couple of weeks before the season starts.

Right now, the only football I care about is the NFL. Go the niners.
This NFL season shits all over last NRL season.

Tbh I haven't renewed either. Normally that was done months ago.

The new bell end running the sharks social media isn't helping either.
