I voted 5-8 given the uncertainty over the 7 and 1. If we settle on a combo of Moltzen at 7 and Brown at 1, I think the team can push for top 4 spot.

Yes, I know the Moltzen hate is strong - but he is a halfback with genuine potential for a very solid career.

As for Brown, he'll never set the world on fire, but he's been the best in the 1 for mine when given the chance. he returns the ball hard and straight, has decent positioning and doesn't miss many tackles.

All this depends on how the team settles in to the season and how much chopping and changing Sheens does before settling on something completely differetnt to what I've suggested.

Top 6.

They suffered one of the biggest injury tolls last year yet still managed to finish 4th. I expect the injury toll to be a little kinder and without any major losses they should be fine. In fact, these guys should be favourites for the minor premiership but the lack of a recognised fullback unfortunately for their sake puts them back in the pack to a degree.

Talented side who can score points against any side and can beat any side on their day it will be interesting to see how they go. If I was a fan, anything less than a prelim would be a travesty and I would be pissed off.

You want the truth? I don't think Tigers fans can handle the truth.

As usual, anywhere between 4th-10th. I'm leaning towards 6th or 7th.

They're just making up the numbers, don't have it in them to compete with the big boys at the business end of the season and will never re-produce the fluke that was 2005.

Heavily rely on favourable referee decisions to win most of their games...but that can only take you so far, refer Tigers vs Warriors Final at the SFS 2011.

Plus the fact that they are being talked up everywhere, all other teams will be gunning for them and I'm not sure they can handle the pressure every week.

Fair enough - but your idea applies to every team bar 1 at the end of every season.

EVERY single Grand Final winner, pretty much EVER has detractors that will gleefully point to supposed key moments where things weren't right in their eyes (rightly or wrongly) and use this as reason to deny the reality of the record books.

By that rationale, every team that wins the big one is also a fluke...

2005 was a great moment, but that was 6 seasons back.

The players have certainly moved past that, and as for the media pinning the tag of 'favourites' on the Tigers, pffft.

So What. Paul Kent, Phil Rothfield and Dean Ritchie think something and the other teams will have 'extra' incentive to beat the Tigers?!

Utter rubbish.

Ive gunned for Sheens departure often previously, but the past two seasons have earnt him some breathing space imo
The #1 & the #7 are the keys
I sometimes feel weve missed the boat these last two years...if we get as close again this year we should go all the way
5th after 26 rds

Won't make the 8. Need to get rid of Tim the Myth Sheens

You mean the same myth who got us into the top 4 2 years in a row with a genuine chance of winning the thing? I don't think you can blame him for our two exits out of the final series either..

1st- 4th. Wobbily start will come good as the season progresses, anything outside of top 4 and a GF is a failure

6-8th

Tigers are not a in-form season club - they become contenders when September hits , will be dangerous when the final 8tips away , till them sub par team

If we can settle on a halfback and fullback early, we'll be top 4 again providing we get a decent run with injuries.
