I think they will slide. The halfback issue is a major one, but even bigger than that is the hit they have taken in the forward pack. As talented as Adam Blair is, he is equally inconsistent, with a discipline problem. Given the choice between Blair and Simon Dwyer I would take Dwyer every time. He's a big loss

7th or 8th and out in the first week

Bigger than most will ever know. I hope against hope we'll see him on the paddock again...

They will make the top 8. But like every year gone by, the Tigers will be another canon fodder team making up the numbers.

Sounds familiar. Seven teams do this every September....
10th.

Moltzen will be puss at 7 and Farah will get that big nose of his out of joint at some point in the year.

Tigers weren't the most harmonious team last year and it seems to be festering.

Benji will probably get hurt and the whole shit joint will go to water and struggle to make the 8.

Probably score the try of the season though.

I predict they'll come fourth. Nothing less than a preliminary final would be considered a disappointment for the Tigers in 2012. They could very well make the decider but that is contingent on Marshall avoiding any potential brain snaps during the finals series.

I know he's a freak but his inconsistency does frustrate me when I watch him play on TV (along with Gus's non-stop wanking over him). Marshall is capable of pulling off the miracle play and some incredibly dumb plays all in the one game on a regular basis. He was completely rocks and diamonds for me in fantasy tipping last year.

Where teams like the Broncos and the Dragons will fall, the Tigers will remain in the hunt come September. A dream grand final for me would be where the Tigers face off against my club.

The thing is, when Broncos "fall" they're still playing finals football at the end of the season anyway.

The salary cap probably means its our turn to miss the 8 this year. But if Kyle Stanley and Cameron King get a lot of time on the field, I'd like to think we could possibly avoid that.

The tigers are favourites & expected to win the comp in 2012 just like last year and the year before.....Sounds familiar.

Deep into finals football two years in a row...yeah I will take that over the garbage we dished up after winning the whole shebangabang

We were never favorites in 2010 or 2011.

In fact I remember a certain club being so unbackable favorites that some agencies paid out on them, only for them to fall flat on their face like every year bar one when the nrl kicked the best team out of the comp.

Most betting agencies currently have the tigers 3rd behind the storm and knights, but hey whatever maintains your rage and jealousy

Just a prediction mate. Anything can happen over the course of the NRL season and it usually does. I don't have anything against the Broncos and Dragons (unlike Souffs), I just think they're the teams that will drop down the ladder this year. If they do make the finals, they won't advance past week one.

I'm agreeing with you. Just a testament towards Broncos more than anything. A poor season for them still involves finals football. Although, all that goes out the window now that they don't have Lockyer.

No.

The only people who had them as favourites were the likes of Rothfield and Massoud.

Hardly glowing praise in my eyes. A credit to the team they did as well as they have - which is pretty well.

We're close - here's hoping for a little luck with injuries and a tad more consistency!

Oh you mean the year we beat a side 13-12 in the prelim final?

You'd know about the hate Vic, you have it in for us purely because you know some people who follow Saints. That's quite sad really.

Honestly, I'd forgotten about the Moltzen thing, and couldn't really care less where he plays.

I agree with you, he isn't a player worth fighting for.....I recall saying that during the numerous threads that were going on about him.
