How would you schedule your teams draw in 2012?

With only four sides left in the 2011 comp, thought I'd throw this topic up for discussion for the other 12 clubs (and the remaining four if they so desire).

Basically, if you were running your club and got to liaise with the NRL in regards to the draw for 2012 - what special requests would you make?

For me, I'd ask:

- Bulldogs v Dragons twice, but not both in the first ten rounds as has been the case in recent years. Perhaps even have one clash in the last few rounds
- Bulldogs v Souths and Parramatta to still happen twice for ANZ Stadium contra deal thing. Timing probably better to be early in the year for all clashes for crowd purposes
- Ditch either the Suncorp DH or Adelaide trip and play a game at Gosford
- If that's not possible, move just ONE game against a low-drawing side to Belmore. PLEASE!

I guess there's also general requests for the good of the game - i.e. better match-ups in themed rounds (Heritage, Rivalry etc)... throw yours up!

Well as a dragons fan I'd like to see us get a home match against the storm next season... its been a few years now.

Brisbane at Kogarah would also be awesome, since we always seem to play them in Wollongong.

A home game against Canberra that isn't during Origin. Preferably early in the season. (we'd probably still find a way to lose the game but I would like it scheduled none the less.) Storm at Kogarah (for once - whats with playing them once only for the last two years and both in Melbourne?) Broncos at Kogarah. The rest, do as you please.

Play Souths, Dogs, and St george twice.
Don't give us home games against Canberra, Cowboys, Gold Coast.

Have Sth Sydney come to Perth for a full two weeks, play two fixtures one after the the other (one an afternoon game please!) and spend the time in between promoting the game, doing some work in the Nth with Aboriginal communities and running coaching clinics for WA Jnrs.

Sth's v Warriors
Sth's v Brisbane

would be my ideal two fixtures for Perth

I'm sick of playing the Warriors away in the opening round. It seems to happen every second year. Look forward to the start of the season but it's the only game it's impossible to attend. Also I'd like more home sunday games. Every club deserves at least 3 or 4 per season. Parramatta stadium trust actually rent out the stadium car park for markets every sunday now.

If I supported a club that took home games to other states I'd be annoyed too, takes value out of your membership.

Not the case for Canterbury. We get two away games substituted in.

-Souths X 2 is a given.
-Would love a game at the SCG on a sunday arvo, either against Doggies or Tigers.
-Game in Gosford again would be good.

No monday night games please!!!!! It's just too hard up here for the people from out of town to attend.

Home games against brisbane, titans, canterbury, melbourne, tigers, warriors and St George as they're the better drawing teams at home for us.

Manly at Campbelltown would be good

Dragons game at the SCG - on a Sunday, thanks Nine! (although I'd love to see the Dragons at Leichhardt again - think we've only played them once there? no chance though)

Seeing as we played Newcastle and Roosters at Leichhardt this year (who we hadn't played there since before the merger), maybe have the teams we've never had at Campbelltown? (Souths and Parra from memory, although Parra have been there for trials)

50uff$ as many times as possible. 10-15 would be nice. Same goes for Cronulla.

No Friday or Monday night games at home.

As Old Boy's Day on a f***ing Sunday for a change!

I'd give the double header concept a rest. The Brisbane double header anyhow, might work in Sydney.

I'd like to play our main rival teams outside of the rep season, although it's probably not practical to play them all outside this period.

We do too. Us Eels, Bulldogs, and Bunnies fans get a 14 game membership, But the rest of the clubs don't if they choose to take games to other cities.
