Howell Injured?

I heard on the ABC radio (Tim Gavel) this morning that David Howell will be out for up to 2 months with a stomach/abdomen injury. Can anyone confirm this?

Is it the sort of thing that could be picked up from a trip to France? :sarcasm:

In any case, I hope Irwin is nearly ready to go, because as bad as Howell has been this year, we're starting to look really thin out wide.

Abdominal injury. Possibly the same as what Steve Menzies has. 2-8 weeks is the prognosis (ie, they have no f**king idea)

i have arange of mixed emotions, from sadness that the raiders have suffered yet another injury, to glee at the fact, howell will not be back in FG in the forseeable future

Irwin, Graham, Howell and Kelly represent a pretty huge slab of our 3/4 talent (and it wasn't much to begin with) so the sooner they're on deck the better, especially flying Phil.

Not to mention releasing Pamatangi and Frawley. Methinks Brad Cross could get a run sooner rather than later.

From all accounts Carney is the one with the big problem right now Pete...or is there something else you're not telling us?...
