HUGE RUMOUR: Mundine to join Roosters

Just heard on 2GB that Anthony Mundine is tipped to join the Roosters after June 30.

No real surprise Roosters struggling in the halves and Mundine's ego will fit in well at the Roosters.

Hmmm, I know Stuart likes Mundine but I'm sure he's aware that he can't control his ego so I can't see how he'll fit into the roosters. I remember when they read an email on The roast a couple of weeks back which said:

"I think Mundine is good for our game but I just don't want him on my team." I repeat MG's comments: "That just sums it up."

IF, a big IF IMO, the Roosters sign Anthony Mundine, it is in no way, shape or form a kick in the guts to Brad Fittler...geezus, we are talking about a professional sporting team struggling a little at five-eight where they may look at signing a once decent five-eight although 5 years removed from the game.

Brad Fittler will recognise the move as a potential positive for his club knowing Ricky Stuart, as the 1st grade coach, has his teams best interests at heart.

Very True, Mundane always talked himself up over Fittler, Mundane couldn't tie Freddy's Boots.

They did Iafeta. I honestly do not think Ricky Stuart will bring Mundine to the club...but that's just me. He just doesn't seem to fit in with the Roosters 'culture' or mindset.
