Yeah I was surprised at the Jennings signing. Not that he'd even be on overs, but that we didn't need a centre worth that much. Anyway, he's improved our left side defence but hasn't really been an improvement on Takairangi, as far as attack goes.

Well, he has - in the sense that he is not as injury-prone as Takairangi. He plays more games, so in terms of value for money, he's probably better both in attack and defence.

Until probably just before Origin 2 Jennings had been good. Obviously Origin 2 he had a nightmare game but it happens to the best players eventually. No reason to suspect it's anything more serious than a form slump. He's a very gifted footballer

French should stay in the top side all season. We're in a unique position of having essentially no pressure on us, our season will be decided by off field issues rather than performance on the field so it's the perfect opportunity to blood youth and tell them to just play
