I really didn't expect the Dragons to win, they gave me false hope when they shot out to 18-4, but the margin in the end was not expected. I was thinking at a few stages that we would lose by the dreaded 50+ score to whatever we had. Thank goodness that didn't happen, close enough but didn't get there.

You know that there is much more to sport and a loss is nothing compared to the loss of loved ones. Poor Mick Fanning losing his third brother is very sad, poor bugger and wish him all the condolences and best wishes.

Yeah, thanks for the perspective. I needed it life’s others concerns too.

On a happier note, WT are considering adopting one of my ideas to help the club. Might be binned, but I’ve made it to the second round in Richos suggestion box.

Hopefully SGI treats its members well.

I’ve said it before, but join your club if you can afford it. Do it for those having a go, flanno at least.

To me he does hold himself that well in the media to be captain material. I am not saying that in a bad way more towards his personality in the public eye. But because of past discretions JDB is not either.

Hunt has 7 try assists from 4 starts so far this year, 3 ahead of the next best, not too shabby.
I'm happy to keep him at the club if he's willing and just as happy he's our Captain.
Lawrie is barely a Corporal let alone Captain material. RFM, Luc, Kyle or Liddle are all worthy candidates when Hunt leaves. I'd say Lomax as well but he's knocked that on the head with all this prima donna shit recently.

Clearly Hunt hates Lomax and now that Lomax is gone he wants to stay. That is how I see it. Flanno probably got the ultimatum, Lomax or Hunt from them and he chose Hunt. Hard to replace a No.7 as good as him these days.
