Hypothetical "If we win" Questions

OK just so I can get some consensus here IF we win the big one...

If we beat Brisbane, are we allowed to start a chant of:
"Brisbane can't play!"
Or is that holding a grudge for too long..? :-k

And if we win, the second the buzzer sounds, are we allowed to storm the field? Cause I sure as hell don't want to be the only one doing it. A night in the lock up on what should be the second best day of my life (the best being my 21st birthday the night before) isn't desired, nor is missing the celebrations, or the several thousand dollar fine... ;-)

Weasel, I agree peolpe would suspect it, but simply point them in the direction of a losses list for the last few years.

Riddell, Kite, Withers, Blacklock, Firman, Ross, Stapleton, Carlaw.

Then tell them that Bails is going. Realistically, we are paying the price for the cap, but we're producing better juniors and maintaining certain squad members ie Head, Hornby, Barrett, Gas, Coops, Thommo, Timmo, Ryles, Young, Creagh. Whilst all bar Head are reps, I'm sure the club makes them aware that slight decreases in their salary will result in the better chance for the team, overall, to win a premiership. And above all, that's what players want to do.

Most of the pick up's we're making too are from the 'Bargain Buy's' bin, and with a little training we've turned them into useful members. EG Carlaw, Best, Withers, Torrens (Has briefly helped us with some good performances), Jensen (For a while plugged some holes).

The eels fans were all cocky and excited after 6 wins in a row, talking about chasing the broncos for the minor premiership.... then they crashed back to back losses vs the raiders and knights.

My comment was advisory, in the event that the boys keep up their current level of performance. With the Dragons games I've witnessed over the last 40 years I am taking NOTHING for granted.

Consistency and discipline will win the 2005 premiership, not wishful thinking.
