Yes, the crowd was very poor.

We, the Sydney Based Broncos Supporters sitting in bay 30 were louder than the 10 000 Parramatta fans that were there on Saturday night. What's wrong with them?

Not once did a "Parra Parra" chant go up. All we heard was a pre-recording of a Parra chant over the loud speaks that was continuously played all night. How poor. How lame.

There we only 30 of us yet we were louder than the whole damn stadium put together.

When it comes to seriously getting behind your team, Parra's home fans are as lame as Duck Shit.

I hate to say it....but its true.

In the Cronin Stand last night, there were two other people who would passionately continue our chants. The rest sat there like Roosters fans.
We are no better than the cardboard cutouts.

I'm sorry I was unable to lend my voice on Saturday night. When I knew how close it had got in the end and the fact my mates said that it was very very quiet made the fact I missed it even more depressing......... Don't worry, I won't be missing any more games.....

Pay TV.

Its not so much that everyone sits at home and watches the games. Only 25% of Households HAVE Pay TV.
Its the scheduling that Pay TV DEMANDS.

I mean, there used to be 1 Saturday game, and 5 Sunday games. Not now.
I don't mean to be offensive, but most elderly people, and "most" people with kids, just won't go out on a cold Saturday night, whether thay have Pay TV or not.

If it was a Sunday afternoon though????????

Lovely elderly couple have season tickets next to me in the Thornett Stand. They've had their tix since the cumberland oval days....religiously see all three grades and record all the try scorers in their big league.

But you know what, they're getting older. Don't know where they were, but they were missing on saturday night, and I've no doubt they would have been there given an afternoon kick off.

Suity, we are consigned to the "also ran" time slot - Sat pm. That's the Souths/Cowpats/Tigers/Sharks timeslot.

Simple equasion. We play like a strong club - fans increase. Better timeslots, fans increase more. In fact, the best timeslot, Friday Night, could have had the same weather conditions, and a 15000 crowd!

Quite simply, Parra need to earn it.
