I watched the game Smith's kicking game was much better than Wallace and Lockyers has been all season. Try to remeber the game was played in horrible conditions. Also try to remeber that Warren Ryan is anit Queenslander not to mention anti Ricky Stuart. Tim Smith has talents something Dodds lacks.

LOL Dodds has played 3 NRL games. No one knows how good he potenially is. Shane Webcke wasn't a champion after 3 games. What a stupid thing to say.

If you can read, I was talking about Smith's kicking game tonight. A) It wasn't better than Lockyer's and B) what has that got to do with anything anyway. Another stupid thing to say. You're a goose.

Tim Smith isn't even a proven superstar. The guy had one good season, the rest of the time he underperformed badly.

I will say this, if the CM is to be believed, Hunt was staying either way. His decision to stay with Brisbane had been made mid-way through preseason.

I am glad Ben Hunt is the one that stayed he is destined for big things. Hopefully Henjak keeps him on the bench for a few games..

I don't see the point of having him on the bench at this stage. All he can do is get in the way of Andrew McCullough.

don't bag wallace, i was at the game and wallace was way better than lockyer. lockyer was a joke last night, could not do anything at all. i dont care what anyone says about the 12 year olds in our team and our forward pack, but we had 15 sets close to their try line and scored once off a benefit of the doubt. lockyer should get out of wallaces way we're that close to the line, because at the moment, wallace is not being used that close to the line

tim smith had no try assists tonight

If we are going to get smashed this year (which we will) why not give youngsters a go. Move Lockyer back to fullback, put Norman and Ben Hunt in the halves and work from there. Wallace can play QLD cup

McCullough comes off every game, I would have thought he should be able to play the fulll 80 mins. I'd like to see Hunt on the bench were possible until we get some cattle back.

Yea because our team isn't filled with young fellas as it is.

Having a halves combination of Norman and Hunt with Locky at the back will just ruin us. It will do no good for the two rookies as we will just get hammered week in week out and it will destroy them.

You honestly have no clue, what so ever.

I don't understand where the Tim Smith lovers are coming from or what they are basing it on.When he played for Parra he was soft, didn't take the line on, was overated. Prediction, this thread will die soon. Yesterday he took it to the line and got smashed, bad head knock and credit to him he got up and kept going. He seems like he's down to earth, you don't see too many players knocking their own performance like he did after the game. I'm not saying he's not going to be a good player one day but he hasn't done anything to warrant big wraps from any Broncos supporter.

In Smith's ONE game, he directed the side around the park more than Wallace has done in 3 WEEKS!

Wallace's role never has to been guide the side around though. That's more Lockyers role.

Wallace's kicking has been poor though, I'll give you that.

Halfback's main role is to guide their team around. Every halfback does it, Wallace is piss poor at this regard. He is a 5/8th.

Why don't you ever defend your stupid opinions? I've confronted and argued against your posts before hoping to get more out of you and you simply avoid the topic and ignore it. For example the post above yours clearly contradicts your try assists statement yet you choose to ignore the obvious and pretend it never happened.
I bet you won't respond to this post either.

I'll just say this ... any fool can criticise ... hence your preoccupation.

It all depends upon who is your 5/8. When you have Darren Lockyer a your 5/8 you don't need a dominate halfback.
