The 21-year-old man was granted conditional bail and will appear at Tweed Heads Local Court on February 2.
A Nine News reporter tweeted the Brisbane Broncos team had been training at the nearby Burleigh Beach that day when 'some players spent the night on the town.'
Daily Mail Australia contacted Brisbane Broncos for comment.
Haas is a star player for the Brisbane Broncos who has also played on the NSW Origin team and Australia's NRL team The Kangaroos.
He won the Dally M Rookie of the Year and Prop of the Year awards in 2019.
Though his star track record is overshadowed by previous controversies.
Haas copped a $20,000 fine and four-game suspension in 2019.
The punishment came after he failed to cooperate with an NRL Integrity Unit investigation into an incident involving his family.
Haas and former teammate David Fifita then went on holidays to Bali later that year.
Fifita was detained by Indonesian police and Haas was cleared by the NRL of any wrongdoing.
