Money for nothin': How the Brisbane Broncos stars spent hours blowing $10 A SPIN on pokies and didn't even know what time their game was on - before suffering the club's worst loss EVER

Brisbane Broncos stars are believed to have spent hours blowing $10-a-spin on on poker machines on the eve of the glamour club's humiliating loss to the Parramatta Eels.
The embarrassing revelations come as the players were seen sheepishly entering a crisis meeting and end of season review at the club's $27 million Clive Berghofer Centre on Wednesday.
Club officials warned they would consider the players' behaviour during the meeting after six players were seen at Harpoon Harry's hotel near Syndey's Oxford Street on Saturday night - just hours before they were trashed 58-0 by the Parramatta Eels on Sunday.
Matt Gillett, Anthony Milford, Corey Oates, Andrew McCullough, Payne Haas and David Fifita are the players believed to have left their hotel without their coaches knowledge.

McCullough may well be be sweating about his future after reports the veteran hooker was expected to be told to move on next year.
Fullback Milford was also believed to be on thin ice at the club with reports he was on his 'last chance' after the 11-tries-to-nil loss to Parramatta.
Winger Oates is off contract and yet to re-sign for 2020.
The pokies scandal also looks bad for Gillett who had been linked to the Broncos captaincy amid speculation skipper Darius Boyd would step down following their finals shocker.
'Given the players were about to play their biggest game of the year they should have been more professional in their actions,' a Broncos statement said.
'The club will take this into consideration during the end of year review process currently underway.'
McCullough spoke out about the scandal on Wednesday.

'You've got to be smarter with the decisions of putting yourself in those situations,' McCullough told HIT105 radio station.
'If we had won, we wouldn't be talking about it but since that wasn't the case but there may be an issue there.'
The group apparently spent time in the pokies room, playing $10 hits and left at about 11pm, although Fifita is said to have stayed longer on his own, Fox Sport reported.
They left the Pullman Sydney Hyde Park hotel without their coach Anthony Seibold knowing, according to media reports.
The players were not seen drinking any alcohol.
On Saturday, the team had dinner together at 6pm before they were shown a highlights reel of their performances to give them motivation.

Afterwards, most players retired to their rooms but it appears six decided to kick on.
'They should have been more professional'
In relation to media reports on the actions of Broncos team members on Saturday night, the club has spoken to a number of players.
From those conversations, we understand that a small number were playing poker machines at a venue close to the team hotel.
Others called in for a short period on their way back to the team hotel from the shops.
There is no suggestion the players were drinking, and our entire squad presented at a team breakfast at 7am the next morning.
Players aren't confined to the team hotel on away trips once their team commitments including dinner, team meeting and sports massage have been completed.
Over many years, the club has placed trust in the playing group to do the right thing in regard to their pre-game preparation.
Given the players were about to play their biggest game of the year, they should have been more professional in their actions.
The club will take this into consideration during the end of year review process currently underway.
