god the future looks awful.

the future is Snow Patrol - both recorded and live they are sensational.

I can't be bothered to go to that site as I've heard them before, and I agree with the "awful" sentiments

Their songs are a lot of fun, but 'the future' is not the right tag for The Spazzys. The 'New Donnas' maybe, or the 'Ramones with estrogen' would be more appropriate.

I can almost sing all the words to paco dosnt love me to the tune of Julie IS A Junkie by the Eastern dark. That makes it quite legendary. As for the ramones, its as much Detroit as it is NYC.

Good fun stuff.

Like a well needed enema in these turgid days of strang and derm.

And and and....my missus hates them> Which means they must be good.

The Eastern Dark!

I'm an acquaintance of Mr Bill Gibson.

He plays bass in my best mate's band, The Pyramidiacs.

Hrundi, as always, you are full of surprises, my friend. I cant work out with the ED whether they would have achieved such fame without the unfortunate death of James Darroch. Julie is A Junkie and Johnny and Dee Dee are undoubtably classics.

Ive heard of the Pyramidiacs.

Can you PM me when they are playing?

If i said Divine Rites eGroup, would you know what im talking about?

Cheers, Rex

Rings a bell but I can't help you with detail...

I'm not really that familiar with ED. I know them because of Bill. Haven't heard much of their stuff.

Pyramidiacs don't play too often, unfortunately. They're recording a new album with Mick Carpenter at the moment.

They're the archetypal "big in Spain" band.

Power pop just isn't appreciated here as much as it shoud be.

Here's the website I did for them...

Yep. Snow Patrol are quite good indeed.
I'll third that. They're awesome, probably my favourite band at the moment. I'm loving their album :D

Really?

I have it and am a little dissapointed. Album number 2 was their best, alot better than the current one anyway.
