July/August is pretty much the peak of our winter, so you probably won't notice much of a difference coming over from the English summer.

If you go to Tasmania, it is similar to England.

If you go to Far North Queensland, it about 32 degress every day of the year.

Take you pick.

Winter in Australia, usually low teens to single figures in temperatures.

rain, if you go south enough you get snow. It used to snow where I lived.
