i-phone 4 or 5 ??...help !

Only want it for a few apps, sms and calls.

Which one do I get ?...never had one before.

I had a friend buy the iPhone 5 and its been nothing but trouble. Gets hot easy, battery runs out fast. If you want a iPhone grab a 4s

Used iPhones for years, now a converted S3 user. There is a 4S, 5 & S3 being used in my house atm. Not a fanboy of either brand, I just get whatever tickles my fancy at the time. What I find is that if you are computer savy & like to fiddle with things, Android is your poison. Happy to just point & click stuff, & are otherwise happy to be served a set menu, go Apple.

For me, smartphones are pretty much like the Falcon V Commodore fight. Both will do the basics the same, so pick whatever you think looks better.

Apple will tie you up with all sorts of proprietary shit. I wouldn't go near them except for a toy.
