But I digress. Whilst we were away we got the news of my best mates wife finally succumbed to her cancer. She fought 15months.
Stage 4 diagnoses at 35 when she was a health freak.

It’s rocked us. I was best man at their wedding. 2 little kids…

sorry for the vent. Just so unfair.

Ok maybe I’m being old here. But I’ve loved the country surf town vibe there.

I love the fact there is a “take away shop” that specialises in Italian, Chinese, Indian and Modern Australian lol.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m very lucky. I’d upload a pic if I could work out how to shrink it. It’s bloody heaven.

I had an amazing time last week at 1 mile beach, pure white sand see through water. Not a single other family there till arvo. It also backs into the military live ammo ranges which I think is cool!
Jervis Bay is heaven mate.
Beaches are endless and some of the most beautiful in the country.
So glad you enjoyed it.

Cancer's a merkin. Can take anyone at any age it seems.

Brings it home how important it is to just live every day life the way you want to, and don't wait until tomorrow to tell people how much you love them etc.

Mate, so sorry to hear that. Not much than anyone can say, but we were all here if you need an outlet. Hope you guys and the family can lean on each other over these next challenging times.

That's not a bad thing - for the family, surely?
I've spent many summers at Culburra with the kids and their friends. I love the vibe of the place.
I can't see how having a beach front house would be a bad thing? Even IF it turns into a Huskisson.

Culburra's most famous family. Amazing people and incredible athletes

Speaking of the Wrights from Culburra

This just made my day, 7 mins ago Tyler Wright just wont the Pipeline Event in Hawaii, and she is being chaired up the beach by our Kingy Board Riders Club world junior champ, Dane Henry.

Today could not get any better.

That’s awesome! We had our 6yo at nippers today as we do every Sunday and they gave her a run in a rubber ducky and behind the JetSki on the mat. Honestly she was over the moon and wants to be a lifesaver now as she is an excellent swimmer already for her age.

Im loving the surf club vibe it’s such a nice healthy way to engage with others, and very good for the headspace.

For those of you asking how my prescription cannabis was going a while back it’s really taken me by surprise. My general mood of a day (obviously not affected) my sense of well being has been significantly better.

My sleep has been sensational and I have lost a shitload of weight because I’m not smashing 30 beers of a weekend. I have 2-3 beers, a nice meal and that’s it. It’s quite honestly been life changing for me so far.

PS I saw that video which I thought was cool.

Awesome news Stevie. The gummies must be doing some good if you're not needing to smash that previously large amount of beers on a weekend. Improved sleep and weight loss a nice little bonus in the mix too.
