I Think Cameron Smith Will Leave?

I seriously believe that the storm will have to pull huge bucks to re-sign him.. I hope Bellamy can have an Influence on him. If Storm pay huge bucks then the likes of Slater,Hoffman, and Inglis could be in tatters.. hopefully it won't happen.

I am unsure when he is ment to make a decision as he is still on contract till end of 2009 i believe...

Lockyer finishes up next year freeing up a ton of cash. You'd think they could throw that at Cameron and he'd take it.

In theory it sounds good, but the Broncos also need to sign Karmichael as he is off contract. Part of Lockyers money needs to go to Hunt otherwise they will lose a very very talented player....and the Broncos rarely lose players they want to keep

If Lockyers knee keeps giving him trouble and he retires than that would leave plenty of room under the cap for a Smith type player.

it's amazing how because a player refuses to rule out speculation it's assumed he's going to elave the club/code. plenty of players have said 'if yawnion wanst to talk i'll listen', doenst eman they're serious about leaving and are just as likely to use speculation to bump their contract i.e. lote tuquiri

smith says that he needs to take into consideration his family and it's read that he's leaving.....

He also mentioned that the resigning of Cronk has given him good reason to consider resigning with Melbourne - he likes the current structure of the team and would be happy to continue with them as long as his mates stay too.

Hmm didnt someone else sign a 5yr deal like that recently at the dogs based on other players???

I would love the titans to get him, but to be honest it wouldnt be fair on Friend.

I would rather Slater or Inglis :)

Who cares? If he goes, he goes, and if stays fine. Why it is an issue even? Players are well known now that they say one thing in the paper but can easily back-track it the next.

what is going on with players these days ,they wanna go home

wtf this kind of stuff didnt happen 10-15 years ago

thats because 10-15 years ago players were on average older and their wasnt teams in their home areas

israel folau would have signed for barely anything, his parents wanted him back in brisbane it happened

i personally think he willll go to the esl, hes done it all what else is their
he says he has goals to achieve so well see what happens
