The premise is simple - similar to a thread I created in another section - what moments in League were you at, and will never forget?

For me it would have to be:

1. Grand Final 2004 - getting down to the barrier, hi-5ing Bwaif and SBW.

2. Grand Final 1999 - riling up Saints fans as Melbourne came flying home to claim victory.

3. R1 2004, watching us thump Parra and seeing SBW play his first scintillating game.

4. Terry Lamb's "last home in Belmore" in 1995, smashing NQ 62-4.

What are yours?

All of the above plus...

- Every Bulldogs final match in 1998

1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2004, 2005 Grand Finals

Plenty of other stuff to list too i guess

As a kid watching mick cronin line up a match winning goal for parramatta vs st george to win the 77 gf..its still a marvell how he kicked goals with his penguin feet

Andrew Johns ripping apart brisbane in 2001 after coming back from injury..44-0

And ..being at the right end of the ground to watch the manly defence open up as Johns went to the blind in 1997..thinking WTf and then it was like sydney heads...and albert running straight at our section of the ground

2001 Gf..watching newcastle dismantle parra inside of 40 min

I was there when Tim Sheens used only 16 players in our last game to give it to the spooners on a platter.

2005 Grand Final.

2006 Premier League Grand Final.

2004 at Mt Smart vs Manly when after leading 14-12 at halftime the Warriors proved to be gutless and lost 42-20.

Bound to be more that i can't think of offhand.

1997 - Tri Series Final, longest game ever and the only good thing Super League produced all year.
2001 - Origin One - Queensland strikes back!
2006 - Origin Two - Queensland strikes back...again!

Last game of 2002 for me was my favorite moment ever. Beating Brisbane and every rushing onto the field to carry the players off was a never to be repeated moment. You just can't describe how good it felt.

Almost every Tigers home game since 1997, in particular the 05 finals series, every home game in the home and away 2005 season and many away games.

Highlights 2005:

- Putting 50 on the Bulldogs
- Destroying the Sharks at Shark Park with Benji setting up one of the best tries ever
- Belting the Cowboys in our first finals game
- Beating the Dragons in the GF qualifier, single best feeling in years
- Grand Final

Some others:

- One of the best comebacks of all time against Newcastle in 2001
- Beating Melbourne at Leichhardt the week of the Hoppa finger poking
- Our first game ever as a JV, Campbelltown 24-all against Brisbane. Skandalis first try.

Warriors v Broncos- round 1 1995- Warriors first game

2004 Grand Final

Several other 1995 Warriors games, including the game against Wests where we got docked the 2 points for an illegal interchange

Another memorable Warriors game, I guess, was against the Broncos in 2003 when there was that brawl with Betham, Webb etc, Villasanti knocked out Webcke and so on

Warriors v Roosters 2004, Guttenbeil's monster hit on Catic

Bit of a curiosity, a Winfield Cup game (or maybe it was just pre-season? Not sure) in either 1992 or 1993 at Carlaw Park, I believe it was Newcastle v Easts

Handing out Wooden Spoons to Doggies supporters at the Dogs/Raiders game in Canberra after they were stripped of their points, absolutely brilliant!

Obviously I remember more of the more recent seasons

1993 - Raiders record their biggest ever win, 68-0 over Parramatta

1995(?) - Brett Mullins magic vs Broncos

Somewhere between 2002-2004 (skeepe's Sydney years):

Sharks vs Knights - Kimmorley's best ever game, Sharks win 64-14.

Sea Eagles vs Raiders - Brookvale Oval, Simon Woolford sent off after 10 minutes. Surely the Raiders are no hope. Result? Raiders 51 Manly 16, Joel Monaghan 4 tries.

Rabbitohs vs Tigers - THAT game, where the timekeeper forgot that golden point is two 5 minute halves.

Roosters vs Bulldogs - Fight night in the stands.

Rabbitohs vs Sharks - Greg Bird tries a bit of Morris dancing.

Bulldogs vs Eels - A young man debuts in the centres by the name of Sonny Bill Williams

Sharks vs Raiders - Michael Robertson steals a win on a Friday night

Dragons vs Cowboys - Dragons fans start leaving with a full 30 minutes to go, their side eventually going down 36-16 when the Cowboys were still crap

Raiders vs Warriors - Schifcofske magic as the Raiders win 30-29 in golden point extra time.

Warriors vs Raiders - Semi final. Nuff said.

Dragons vs Raiders - Trent Barrett throws a win away - literally.

Eels vs Sharks - Shayne Hayne's nightmare.

Panthers vs Raiders - Panthers lead 22-6 at half time, Raiders win 40-28.

Roosters vs Broncos - Good Friday '04, where it's lights out Ned Catic in the first tackle.

Roosters vs Dragons - Anzac Day '04, 0-2 at half time. Great game of footy.

Bulldogs vs Roosters - The Grand Final that Never Was part 1 - Utai magic gets the win.

Roosters vs Panthers - Both '04 matches. Gee they were great sides to watch back then.

More recently:

2006 - Raiders vs Panthers - golden point magic from Schifcofske

2007 - Raiders vs Knights - Andrew Johns' last ever game of rugby league. And a cracking 48-18 win to boot.

Not all of the games listed above were classics in the true sense of the word I guess, but they all had those individual moments that I'm never likely to forget.

Have to say it - as Dr Crane mentioned, the PL GF between Parra and the Jets last year was one of the best matches I have EVER, EVER witnessed.
