Ok I've had an Idea....(god please forgive me)

Sung to AC/DC'S 1980 classic "Shook me all night long"

he is a fast machine
he keeps his record clean
he is the best damn winger I have ever seen
he has the steeliest eyes
Searching for those tries
Knockin' them out with Goondiwindi thighs
scoring more than his share
Plucking points from air
We told him to run but he was already there

'Cause the bays start shaking
The hill was quaking
his feet were aching
But the team were making it and Luke -

Kicked ‘em all night long

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Deadset Farkin Awesome. You should make crappy ripoffs for the regulars in the top 17. Think about it!!!!

Stosic - To the tune of Lola by the Kinks. "S-T-O-SI-C, STosic!"
Kingston - "If I were Kinga for just one day" - THe Thompson Twins
Simmons - "I am Dave Simmons baby, so why dont you kill me" To loser By Beck

And my personal fave -Phil Leuleui - Sung to the tune of american pie "Say bye bye, to Phil Leuleui. Hes as heavy as a chevy now he's created a try...."

Just some random thoughts..... I will develop further when I have more time. I will have to dig up the ode I did to Chris Beattie to the tune of Redgum's I was only 19.

Great lyrics Sharkadelic. Maybe Newtown can use that song as a joke prior to a Jim Beam game as it includes a lot of the players that you guys took from us. But seriously, I wish the best to those guys and your club for 2006 as those guys fought hard and deep to win a place in the high and mighty NRL comp. Especially love the way you guys did not want originally sign or want KINGSTON and now you write songs about him. Special olympic stuff that....LOL.....Great managerial decisions....Funny stuff. GO KINGO, GIVE IT TO UM !!!

Well ,if they left Newtown, why would you want to sing about them? That is special olympic stuff right there.

I never heard any one diss them (give me names - "you guys" is pretty vague)

Also I picked slightly "less obvious" players partially for cult value and partially because nothing I could think of rhymes with "Kimmorley" or "Vagana".

And the ideas I had for Dykes may have been inappropriate for a family forum:shock:

If the year does implode then I have a great idea,

Lets give Up Up Cronulla the flick and go right back to the old original

Roll out the barrel, we'll have a barrel of fun
Roll out the barrel, we've got the blues on the run
Zing boom tararrel, ring out a song of good cheer
Now's the time to roll the barrel, for the gang's all here

Cheers

Sing the chorus to Yothu Yindis Djapana, and replace Djapana with Vagana.

OH OH OOOH VAGANA
OH WHAT A BOY!

Looks like Newmans kicked a goal.
