the argument used isn't just for eigth place, spots within the eight themselves can be influenced by the draw.

Teams shouldn't worry about missing the 8 on points dif. The teams that come 6,7,8 should count themselves lucky that the NRL has such a ridiculous finals system that rewards mediocrity

Lets face it any team that doesnt come 8th in a 15 team comp should not be there. Over half the comp gets in so no excuses.
