If Cronk joins the Roosters, the 2018 competition is over before it starts

Haha the Roosters will, but now the Warriors, will, so funny, yeah the warriors have never been there around origin time then lost every game.

I feel for warriors, this fool has jinxed you.

All good Stacey will be there when you do win the whole lot, will not be this year, you will fade again.

This is a quality thread with so much potential. It could be up there with the guy who after 1 round in 2005 declared Wests Tigers were destined for the spoon.

Hopefully OP keeps up the good work and Roosters do their part and keep losing, Fingers crossed.

Who could seriously argue, on the basis of one bad game, that the Roosters are not destined for the Grand Final victory of 2018? The team is awesome and can only improve over their defeat at the hands of their likely Grand Final opponents the NZ Warriors.

They’ve played 4 games so far and lost 2 of them. Their only wins have been over the Bulldogs and the wooden spooners of the last 3 years Newcastle, while they have lost to the Tigers and the Warriors, 2 teams that missed finals last year and most had competing for the spoon this year. I’ve said it plenty of times and I’ll say it again, their forward pack is soft, their backs are shit and their bench is weak. And now you can even add their spine is disappointing

Come back to me on this after tonight's game against the Sharks.

good call
One game doesn’t change anything. Roosters didn’t impress me at all. The sharks were clearly well below their best, even well below last week. Credit where it’s due tho, the Roosters exposed the sharks inability to defend kicks

Good teams respond to losses. Sharks no pushovers. Got the job done.

Roosters are gona be there at the pointy end.
