If Moltzen is picked again this week...

Moltzen 6 runs, 25 metres....4 and a bit m per run

I guarantee teddy ran 6 or 7 times that amount today

Dont get me wrong, I am not a Moltzen fan, I just think he has been better at fullback in the last 2 rounds than I have ever seen him and I know the players love him. I think Tedesco is a genuine fullback and looks to have alot of potential. Tim is not a real fullback and I thought he never would be until he showed improvement this year. Until Tedesco is tested in the top grade you cant rely on how well he goes in the kids cup. I hope he will be the future custodian, and Moltzen really has no place left in the team, but I anticipate a massive Benji sook if that happens.

Its his natural game, he loves to run it back, he loves to get involved, he loves being busy .....he wont be a first grader from the start, it takes time for all....but hes a natural #1

Id rather Ted stay stay in state cup getting experience in his natural position than playing wing in NRL. We had enough of that crap with Sheens. If we need a winger call up Nu.

The main issue for me with Tim Moltzen is he never returns to the ball into the defence himself –*He will always offload it to one of his centres. Unlike James Tedesco who will take the kick return and charge straight into the defence.

I found it quite funny at Leichhardt on Friday night - There was a group of supporters on the hill who ever time started a "Moltzen's a cat" chant when he offloaded the ball instead of running the ball back

Moltz only ever runs the ball 10m out from the try line, the other 90m he has no interest in running it which is a concern .

I've never seen a player as hated by the teams fans as Moltzen is. It must hurt his confidence a great deal.

Keep it up.

Potter has taken Moltzen under his wing and has spent a great deal of time specifically helping him with fullback play.
He won't be dropped unless injured.

Tedesco is a bit on the outer I feel. Potter knows it's to his advantage to keep the older players happy for now.

The funny thing is Tedesco is still better than Moltzen even coming back from injury and without the experience or the help.

Might get shouted down, but could be a good thing for young Teddy a season in reserves with the odd game in the top grade to keep him interested. Their is no doubt he will be a standout, but with next to no football last year a steady build up to the big time might be the way to go. Their is no doubt he will get a go, injuries will strike or poor form will set in.I just cant see how you could drop Moltzen on his three games so far this year, even with Teddy causing havoc in Reggies.Koro out this week,Teddy should be given a go and maybe he Moltzen should inter change from time to time, although wingers in the game today are required to charge like bulls to make the dirty yards coming out of trouble and really cant see Moltzen being effective in that department.

What we have to be careful of, is keeping other clubs away from him, like wise with Brooks

I was trying to listen to Sports Ears and every time Moltzen came within a certain range that metal plate in his skull gave out static

I asked on the Round 3 v Parramatta thread;
Can anyone who was at the game inform the ones who were not, is there any crowd reaction to Moltzen taking kicks and simply off loading to his wingers?

Thanks azsportza for this:

Can anyone add anything else from other parts of the ground?

I was also surprised no shocked that Andrew Johns gave Moltzen 2 points on Friday night and Fulton got zip.

Joe E popped one at HT. It can be the only logical explanation

I saw the NSW Cup game.

Tedesco is the best fullback at your club.

This is a test for Potter, he cannot continue to ignore this fact.
