Moltzen played well but only because the Panthers let him. Their kick chase was dreadful and the few bombs he caught were pretty much uncontested. If Coote hadn't got injuried I bet he would of come through and caught some of those bombs.

For mine Teddy still needs to come in with Moltz to the bench of NSW Cup

This is one of the main reasons I get frustrated with Moltzen. He never ever ever ever wants to back himself for the kick return.

I reckon its a cunning plan.

One day he is going to throw a dummy and go the length of the field. It will just take 3 or 4 years of dishing the ball to the winger for every kick return to lull opposition chasers into a false sense of security.

I bumped into his father and had a quick chat - apparently last year Tedesco, Moltzen and Ryan were the 3 fittest at the club. Doesnt mean much with form of course, but interesting none the less.

I understand what you are saying Danoz but its like saying Miller didnt do anything wrong so we will keep Copper Cronk in reserve grade
Its good that Moltzen has improved but at his best he would not be a superior fullback to Tedesco at his best . End of the day there are 13 positions on the field available and he isnt the best at any of them to hold his spot . He may have made 7 his but he can thank Sheens for cutting that short. He should have went to saints and he would have avoided the disapointment i guess. Maybe a timely season ending pec tear could help all involved out .

I hope you are right, I just fear that the players love for Moltzen combined with his playing better footy may influence Potter to keep him there.

One of today's newspapers says that Tedesco may play on the wing next week if Koroibete is out. Hopefully he has a blinder and makes it obvious to all that he cannot be left out. Willing to bet you won't see Moltzen pass Tedesco the ball from a kick return like he usually does... So frustrating !!!
