Bulldust. Everything you post points to the opposite. Just like your little cheer squad.
Yeah it does because I'm not going to be part of an echo chamber.
There's risk and realities that need to be pointed out.
I'd love to see a Perth team but not if it means in 10 years all the headlines are about poor Perth crowds , complaining about travel and the lack performance.
Gold Coast was the biggest no brainer for expansion in Rugby league! A few years of bad performance and do you realise how many people want them cut from the competition???
Imagine that x10

We ignoring again the SL effect and the fact that their crowd avg continued with higher crowds for their 3 years than a number of so call Ed heartland clubs with decades head start
Agree. In 1995 Redcliffe v the S.Q. Crushers (BRL) had 5,000 attend at an unrenovated Dolphin Oval. That same weekend South Sydney attracted a similar crowd in the "National" comp.

So we shouldn’t move into new markets because of something that may or may not happen in ten years? geez that’s some business model lol.

Yes there are winners. They proved that getting culled by the NRL doen't mean you can't still get back in the comp and behind a success.
They didn't just whimper and die like your club.
What’s funny about you using south’s as an example is they are the club the wa govt was paying lots of money to get their home games

Whys that funny? Souths have a business model that doesn’t rely on pokies and is reliant on generating football revenue, selling games is one of the ways they do that. It’s smart by them. WA govt wil buy from anyone selling. We locked in deals with roosters and bulldogs till covid hit.

Souths are same as force, got booted, got let back in, only survived due to a rich owner buying them. the point being made if you call force a fallure then by definition so are souths. Both are nonsense.

If they are in the comp then they are viable

But Yes, those two sports are basketcases. Only a moron would compare NRL to them. But wb1234 keeps on doing it.

That is a very low bar though.

RL needs to use those sports as guides though and in somecases work together.

I was at the saints v Wests game at Commbank last year and there was a sub 5k crowd. Crowds in perth will be comparable to a lot of NRL teams.

No doubt they will, as well as Wildcats, scorchers and the afl clubs.

Not exactly the same though, State based systems are in place for starters.

Force for example have travel as far away as Fiji,

They would be good to get information on how long to go for.

Do you do recovery over there or fly straight home

How do they deal with ensuring that East coast players don't get home sick

The other sports draw players from other states aswell. I'd be looking at the more successful clubs in all regards. Scorchers have done great with fan engagement getting 10k members.

So you’re happy to look at the other Perth clubs as long as they are successful

Wildcats and eagles are the most succesful perth clubs. I’d be making friends with both of them to learn about travel impacts and best processes.

im surprised the perth clubs haven’t come together to buy a plane for them all to use specially designed for sports teams, like the patriots have.

If there is anything that the Melbourne Rebels have shown us, it's that the success or lack thereof of a Super Rugby team has ZERO bearing on an NRL team.

In the time the Rebels have existed the Storm have increased there crowd average, membership numbers and TV ratings.

Don't all of the Scorchers players play for WA in Shield and One dayers?

That and winning it most years are great to get fan engagement but yes that will be crucial for Team 18
