but i'd rather see it for the local juniors. I'd like to see this for every week of the comp. It'd be interesting.

Decent, edible hotdogs

Did these ever exist? I still remember having to get my dad to pull over the car on the way back from Penrith (in the early 80s before the M4 went all the way) to have a roadside puke after eating one of these... :?

Dunno....maybe its my memory playin tricks....though those days as a kid I was able to put away three big macs at once no probs....the mere thought of that today makes me wanna hurl.

Parra are having a Retro Week v Penrith in Round 25 (I think), wearing versions of their late 70s/early 80s jersey. Would love to see Penrith back in their chocolate soldiers gear for that game!

So would most Penrith fans. Alas jackass Cowan and Co say that unless they are assured of selling a million and one jersey's it will cost the club to much money. How that works out I dont know. Maybe they need to invoice it under advertising or something.

We would need to have two heritage rounds due to the Joint venture teams, as well as the bye (it wouldnt be fair for someone to miss out each year).

With the Joint ventures:
WESTS TIGERS:
Wests vs Manly at Campbelltown... then in the 2nd heritage round;
Balmain vs Parramatta at Leichardt

ST.G Illa Dragons:
Illawarra vs Canberra at WIN (as already suggested by someone else) and;
St.George vs Souths at the SCG.

All those games would be packed houses.

Well the Dragons are sweet this year because we played Penrith at WIN in Illawarra Heritage jerseys and will be playing Manly at OKI in St.George Heritage jerseys.

Yep, and it was a record crowd at WIN against the panthers and no doubt OKI will be packed for the St George Heritage game against Manly. I hope we have 2 heritage games like this for both sides of the JV every year.

Souths (10 confirmed *) Easts (10 confirmed *)

Good effort by Easts to field the same number of debutants/juniors as Souths this round.

Who's laughing now Vermin?

I may be wrong but I think Sutton played for Kenso and Coogee wombats and Hookeys from the old Zetland Maggies.

Excuses? If your relying on the past to get you over the arguement then give us back all the Easts junior clubs you pinched. Then we'll see how many juniors you have. Coogee Wombats are more East than South. Thank the turds in your club and the NSWRL back then for doing Souths a big favour. Souths were once hated too you know, and this is why.

But back to the subject...you laughed at the thought that my top side would be full of atsreisks but not yours. Wrong again.

4 Quarter football on Wednesday nights at Leichhardt Oval

Jerseys made out of Cotton (if heritage jerseys are made out of that synthetic crap they are fakes)

SCG Hill

other things i'd like to see again that are already mentioned by others are Leather footballs (the brown and white striped balls from Amco Cup especially!!)

Mud! Sophisticated drainage is the worst enhancement to our game. I still have visions of the replacement player who is rewarded for his 'good game' in the earlier reserve grade match. He is waiting on the sideline with the touch judge. Waiting for a break in play. He is filthy from the shorts down from his earlier reserve grade match but he is wearing a clean jersey with a big number 23 on the back.

Hardly, they do that every year anyway, and with us, we're giving a few teams a chance to do it over a period of a month.

I wouldn't call it pinching their concept
